Katie Koopman

Katie Koopman has roots in Irish, Scottish, Hungarian, and French-Canadian ancestry.
Leaning into her own journey of reconciliation and with Indigenous guidance, Katie has developed virtual and in-person educational experiences that have engaged hundreds of people in conversations across the country regarding the truth about Canada’s past and current history.
In effort to authenticate her personal and professional experience, she is currently working toward her degree in the field of Global Development, while simultaneously completing a certificate in Community Engagement, Leadership, and Development.
Her energy is replenished puttering around her home located in the heart of some scraggly Canadian Shield north of Kingston, Ontario. She checks in on her small flock of chickens throughout the day, wrangling in her favourites for a cuddle and pep talk.
Katie believes that The Princess Bride is the most perfect movie ever made.

Mance Granberg

“As a proud Wolastiqiyik/Abenaki and Italian artist, I weave together the rich tapestries of my dual heritage to create vibrant, culturally-infused art. With roots in Viger/Odanak/Wolinak through my father’s lineage and Italy through my mother’s, my multidisciplinary practice reflects the intersection of Indigenous and Italian influences, yielding dynamic works that celebrate the beauty of my two cultures.”
